GLENBROOK GORGE TOURS

We offer various tours down through Glenbrook Gorge – a shorter walk for those looking for a cruisy scenic morning out, and a longer tour for those after more of an adventure. Both offer the same activities – observing microscopic features under a field microscope, spotting wildlife with binoculars, and listening to plant signals converted into music using a unique bio-sonic device. There’s also the option for a refreshing swim in one of the gorge’s most beautiful natural pools.

Located in the Lower Blue Mountains (just 50 minutes from Sydney CBD), these tours offer a wonderful insight into the regions iconic landscape with fascinating insights into the region’s ecology, landscapes, and natural connections. Led by a qualified local guide with a background in conservation and ecology, these adventures foster curiosity for the intricate connections among all living systems, leaving participants with a deeper appreciation for the natural world.

After the walk, visitors are encouraged to relax at one of Glenbrook’s boutique cafés or explore more of the nearby national park.

The walk showcases the area’s famous sandstone cliffs and stunning natural pools, with opportunities to engage in hands-on activities such as microscopic observation, wildlife spotting and a swim in one of the crystal clear swimming holes. Expect uneven terrain, a steady descent, and an immersive nature experience that requires moderate fitness and confidence walking on natural surfaces.
